well today turned out to be pretty cool after all!
yes indeed! I did get to meet scarlete after all! It put me in a way better mood.

If I'm not mistaken, scarlete is my first lj friend I did not know from somewhere else first.

We hung out for a whiiile. a couple 3 hours even! I was a little worried I might wear out my welcome cause I didn't sleep enough last night and I was a little sleeepy. But after a nice big cup o coffee, I was up and alert! Be alert! America needs more lerts.

Lydia! I'm told meeting her makes me way more of an internet sensation than meeting scarlete.

She kept trying to talk to me alllll the time, even when I was talking or someone else was. Sometimes it was annoying but usually I was cool w/ it :)

I had really been worried I was wearing out my welcome but it seems I could've stayed quite a while longer if I wanted. It was a tough decision really, but I decided to err on the side of paranoia.

Then as I was driving away who should call to request a beer run/return than scarlete? So I picked her up a Kirin Ichiban if I remember the spelling, anyway a Japanese beer, and grabbed a 6 of Red Hook IPA for me as they weren't selling single bottles of THAT. When I returned, I learned scarlete was planning to KILL me, but somehow I survived.... and then Maya was back awake! She was cool with me until I actually sat down next to her!


EVEN STILL, I'm told it's even MORE of a coup to meet HER than Lydia! Holy SHIT I'm a bona fide INTERNETS STAR!

So after THAT I went to the beach. I drove all the way to the WEST COAST!!!! of Florida. I took a few pictures but my camera is alllll the way back in my car and no way am I going back there to get it. You'll see them later.

Even though, as you can see, I have gotten all kinds of fat again, I didn't let that stop me from walking up to my chest in the Gulf of Mexico, and then turning around and coming back out before I got sea water in my hair. I was not bitten by any sharks. Or alligators!

There was a nice breeze there that almost makes me regret coming back inland to the same bar I was at last night. I came to try the One Night Stand pale ale but the owners were too busy testing it to actually hook up the keg! Or so I'm told. So I ate a 15th St Burger which was tasty yummy.

There's a cop or some kind of security guard car stationed at the spot where I parked/slept last night, but I have other plans for tonight's slumber. Tomorrow, off to Ginnie Springs campground to meet up with _rabidwombat_ and company again!

Now that I'm here and drank a beer, I've been entered in a raffle to go skydiving! I just have to hang out til 10 to see if I get to jump out of a plane...and WHEN.
